How to San Francisco in a day: The art of winging it.

And just like that, we find ourselves in the concrete jungles of San Francisco. One day in the golden fields of Sebastopol, the next in the Golden City itself. A lot of the content in the blog world is closely curated: the best pictures of the bunch, the repetitive adjectives to describe one's outfit, etc. But with this trip with my infamous best friend Christine, there was a winged perfection to the whole day's agenda; from waking at noon instead of 8 am (timing is our specialty), to sorely underestimating San Francisco’s wind abilities with our outfits. We had an itinerary of what was to come-- Palace of Fine Arts, Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory, the Golden Gate. But of course, none of that happened (next time...). Instead we were presented with grand cathedrals, mini photoshoots amidst the trolleys of SF, rooftop gardens and paper airplanes (all of which were found on our search for the way back to the BART station). Modern day Hansel and Gretel perfection.

And so I present you with select images from this legendary and the advice of how to San Francisco in a day: The art of sheer "winging it."

  4. Those photos are so beautiful! I've been to San Fran but I don't think I could ever take in the beauty of the city within a day. Though, I think those pictures totally captured the beauty of it.
