It's been a long minute here on ADIMAY... and so, after a hiatus of both photography and fashion posts alike, let us get back in the groove of things with a collaboration with label Khara Kapas, completed by way of a conceptual shoot that had been feeding in my mind for quite some time. My absence can be drawn back to the concluding weeks of my first year in college (time sure flies) followed by the abrupt start of summer school, but let's leave that all aside and focus on the aesthetic matter at hand.

I've decided that I wanted close the bridge between strictly "fashion" and "photography" posts on this blog, for visual satisfaction is quite the important principle to someone who started this blog as a space for creative photography work. And time and time again it is the pieces that I shoot with, whether clothing or accessory, that inspire the essence of the shoot itself. With that said, character is essential to the pieces I feature. Which is why I love this floral shirt dress. The perfect culmination of retro cotton dresses reminiscent of old Bollywood in my opinion, with a pinch of Lana Del Ray. I don't quite know where I'm going with this but let's just say that I've found my happy place with the ideal blend of winged liner, subtle bouffants, red lipstick, and wilderness chillin. All with Lana Del Ray playing somewhere in the background

Enjoy, dear viewers.

UntitledSpecial thanks to Sean Sandoval for his help shooting the aerial shots!
